Custom Assembly of Headbands for Industrial & Military Applications

At All-Rite Industries, our blend of capabilities allows us to furnish our clients with complete end-to-end solutions for assembled products, such as the headband assembly highlighted here. This product featured numerous sub-components, constructed from several different materials, and manufactured using several different methods. The coordinated efforts of our project team combined with our efficient production planning system enabled us to supply a large volume of these assemblies to the client within a narrow timeframe.

Materials of construction included high carbon steel, stainless steel, molybdenum impregnated nylon, and PVC/nitrile, while fabrication involved processes such as punch press and four-slide forming. Assembly operations consisted of spot welding, adhesive bonding, and fastener installation. We implement rigorous quality checkpoints into every phase of the project, from first article inspection and in-process checks to a rigorous final assessment for dimensional accuracy, appearance, and functionality.

This headgear is used in both industrial and military applications. Our facility was required to pass a U.S. Navy audit, and we manufacture this product in accordance with relevant Mil-spec, SAE, and ASTM standards. Over the years, we have taken the initiative to test the use of alternative materials, recommend design modifications, and make a hands-on evaluation of different finish options to improve quality and reduce unit cost.
